Call first: appointment only, no walk-in. Hours are when the phone lines run, not a promise of an appointment; check before you travel.
How it works
- Phone the number. It is by appointment only; there is no walk-in.
- Give your details, including your medical card or GP visit card number if you have one.
- A triage nurse phones you back, so keep your line free.
- They may give advice, book a GP appointment, or arrange a house visit or an ambulance.
Free with a valid medical card or GP visit card; without one, you are charged a fee. Not for repeat prescriptions, test results, medical certificates or employment medicals.
