These hours come from the HSE's Mid West notice of 24 December 2025, which gives one set of hours for the region's out-of-hours services, not for Limerick Doc alone. Limerick Doc has no HSE directory listing and we found no website for it, so phone to confirm.
Call first: appointment only, no walk-in. Hours are when the phone lines run, not a promise of an appointment; check before you travel.
How it works
- Phone the number. It is by appointment only; there is no walk-in.
- Give your details, including your medical card or GP visit card number if you have one.
- A triage nurse phones you back, so keep your line free.
- They may give advice, book a GP appointment, or arrange a house visit or an ambulance.
UL's Student Health Centre says medical card holders must be registered with a Limerick-based GP to use it under the GMS scheme, and others may have to pay in cash. ul.ie, checked 30 Oct Not for repeat prescriptions, test results, medical certificates or employment medicals.
